How To Frame A Paint By Numbers Canvas?

Stretching a canvas can be daunting at first, but it’s a lot easier than it seems! Our wooden frames we sell along with the paint by numbers kit, are specifically designed to stretch canvas without the need for any tools!

Before you paint a masterpiece, the Paint by Numbers canvas template needs to be stretched just right for it to work and hold paint properly. Quite some customers however choose to first finish the paintings and then stretch the canvas painting on the wooden frames. Either way, you choose which suits you better.

What You Need For Stretching A Paint By Numbers Canvas?

1-Thumbtacks.

2-Obviously the kit ( The canvas and the frame ).

How To Assemble The Frame?

The wooden frame sets include 2 long strips and 2 short strips, lay out the strips on a flat surface and follow the following instructions:

1- Attach the corner edge of a long strip with a short strip, and then do the same with the remaining pieces.

2-That it! Your frame is ready.

How To Stretch The canvas?

Lay out your assembled wooden frame and canvas onto a flat surface. Put the now assembled frame, paints brushes, and anything else included in your kit over to the side and follow the instructions below:

1- Align the dark edge line of the canvas pattern with the edge of the frame.

2-Secure the canvas of the frame using thumbtacks or staples. Please apply the thumbtacks on all of sides frame.

Secure all corner edges with thumbtacks

3-Lastly, secure all corner edges with thumbtacks.
